Department Overview
CHMKM Govt. Arts & Science College, Koduvally is a developing higher education institution of Kozhikode district established in 2013. The college has BA ENGLISH LANGUAGE and LITERATURE as core course with Social and Culture History of Britain and World History complimentary courses. Since the starting of the Department five batches have passed out so far.
The College Library offers more than 5000 books under English Language and Literature. The books are purchased with the purpose of enriching students’ taste in the subject and their flair of language. Apart from primary and secondary materials for the curriculum there is a vast collection of books that deal with language, linguistics, fiction, poetry, drama, theory, history and cinema. There are books that would help develop the research aptitude of the students. English literary and non-literary journals also are available in the library. The library is set up with the aim of accommodating the needs of post graduate students as well.
